 organised by the newtown neighbourhood centre, for more than 30 years (insert huge round of applause + some woop-woops!) the centre has given the festival to its community as a free event

 so i'm sure (yes, i am SURE) you'll remember the image below from iheartiw # 2 (when i could still be ar$*d putting the lovehearts in the pix)...WELL. the other day on my usual meander thru the inner west gallery i, with great delight, stumbled upon a REPLY from johnny....

so here i am, snapping away, all excited to have stumbled upon this random love note response, painted about a metre high on a fence on wilson st when i suddenly thought....HANG ON A MINUTE ALLYGRRRL...i think this writing is THE SAME. upon deep contemplation i think i have discovered the mystery (ok....bear with me here..) i think dave and johnny are THE SAME PERSON (no...wait...give me a minute), but i think dave/johnny don't KNOW they are the same person...think (sally fields) sybil - genX's / (toni collettes) united states of tara - genY's. so what I THINK is that johnny and dave are always trying to FIND EACH OTHER but can never quite hook up....and it's a bit like this modern day schizophrenic shakespearian tragedy. just a thought. what do you reckon? {heart} dave/johnny - hang in there brothers, love will prevail! and maybe a movie deal...
